Looking back, I have never reg...This is soooo rich! Looking back, I have never regretted choosing legos over laundry or crafts over crumbs. Ever. As the kids hit school age, I turned their bedrooms over to them, and just asked for a bit of respect for the common areas. Slowly we learned together to keep the main room picked up and I got some cooperation in the kitchen. I think by not fretting over every inch...by letting them have "their" space...I was able to keep up with it over the years.
